Few television series have garnered a cult audience like HBO's original series Game of Thrones. Season 6 just premiered on Sunday April 24th and though it's viewership was down a bit from its record setting premiere last season according to Nielsen ratings, it is evident GOT fans have grown into a strong following as they are tuning in to catch every moment from this compelling drama adapted by creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss from George R. Martin's fantastical series A Song of Ice and Fire. According to beyond air ratings Game of Thrones season 6 premiere episode "Red Woman" set records across all their platforms (HBO Go, HBO Now, etc) pulling in about 10.7 million viewers!
